The 7 Bridges Marathon will begin in Coolidge Park on the North Shore of Chattanooga. Crossing the Market Street Bridge, the race will lead runners on a scenic tour of downtown Chattanooga’s bridges and riverside neighborhoods.

The half marathon course (13.1 miles) will accompany the full marathon (26.2 miles) over three bridges, splitting off at the Chattanooga Food Bank on the Tennessee Riverwalk. While the half will return over the Walnut Street Bridge and finish in Coolidge Park, the full marathon will continue over three more bridges (the C.B. Robinson, Thrasher, and Riverpark Bridges, respectively) before returning downtown to cross Walnut for the Coolidge Park finish. Come on and race!

2016 7 Bridges Music --- The Artists

In 1996, Shawnessey helped form the acoustic rock group, Red Letter, with fellow classmates Will Graybeal and Richard Shinn. The band would last for two years, write ten songs, and play at least five shows…total…for crowds ranging from 5 to 50. Though this project wasn’t a huge “success”, it did provide the inspiration for Shawnessey to eventually teach himself to play the guitar.
Shawnessey currently resides in Chattanooga, TN where he plays a mixture of indie-rock, acoustic-folk music. Hear music @ cdbaby.com/shawnesseycargile

Tryezz

At the core, I'm a creative soul and a purveyor of wisdom. And I'm on an endless journey of greater understanding and expression through the arts (i.e. primarily the visual arts, music and dance). The goal is to utilize these and other art forms to help viewers and listeners escape and unplug, clear the mind, and spark the imagination while setting moods for many various occasions. As stated before, I'm also a purveyor of wisdom. I believe that there's always something to learn...always something new to be discovered. I'm always a student.

Christian Collier

Perhaps the best way to describe him is by what he doesn’t do. Christian is a modern renaissance man (poet, musician, educator, event host, etc.) who has been called a street beatnik, the spoken-word rockstar, and an artist to watch among other (mostly positive) things.

Regardless of the medium though, Christian’s objective is the same: to genuinely impact and connect with each audience he’s in front of. It is this mission statement that has motivated him to keep pushing himself to delve deeper as an artist, performer, and person.
